NATURAL & ORGANIC PRODUCT REVIEW: Serenity Progesterone Cream.

Serenity Progesterone Cream by Health Science.  We had several women who are perimenopausal product test progesterone creams to determine which one worked the best and seemed to have the fewest, or no, chemical estrogen side effects from the plastic product packaging. While Progest seemed to work for some women with lesser symtoms of estrogen dominance, many complained that the cream worked well at first, but after using it for 2-3 weeks, they stated they seemed to feel worse. We contributed this to the fact that Progest cream comes in a soft plastic tube which is leaching chemical estrogens from the plastic into the cream and thus reversing the effectiveness of the progesterone.
Serenity Progesterone Cream made by Health Science is a wonderful product that adds some herbs for certain benefits, contains 3 times the USP quality progesterone of any other cream we have found on the market, works extremely well, and comes in a less-toxic plastic container even if it is not glass. We tried to find exact statements from Health Science as to whether their packaging was BPA free and they do not specifically claim it is, but claim their product contains no petrochemicals. Our product testers did not seem to have any chemcial estrogen side effects or any other while using the cream and after just 2-3 weeks when used by women with severe estrogen dominance, they reported it worked better than any other progesterone creams they had tried and they loved it. Here is their product description.

Product Review: EO Certified Organic Products.

EOWe just can’t say enough great things about the EO organic and natural products we tested. Among the group were:

▪ Organic Bath Salts
▪ Handmade Bar Soaps
▪ Organic Lip Treatments
▪ Hand Sanitizing Spray

There wasn’t a favorite in the bunch, either. The scents in all of the EO products are very appealing—not too strong and distinctively unique. The bath salts were great to soak in. They left our skin nourished—feeling soft and smelling nice and not oily or overly dry.

The bar soaps were great, too! The Deodorant Bar Soap With Lemon Verbena and Menthol and the Everyday Bar With Lavender and Aloe foamed up lightly, leaving our skin clean, soft, and smelling sweet.

We tested three of the lip treatments and loved them, too! Our reviewer/testers said they were actually the best they’ve ever tried, leaving lips moisturized and especially soft.

The hand sanitizers were received well with their easy spray application that makes dispensing easy, especially for kids. The product dries rather quickly and leaves hands clean and soft, not itchy and dry as many others do.

Health Product Reviews: Bionaturae Tomato Products.

“I have seen you mention a brand called Bionaturae in your recipes section. I am very interested in using more products that are not in cans. Can you tell me where I can find this brand?” ~ S.C, New Mexico.

Circkle’s response: Bionaturae is a very small company and many retailers have not had to deal with consumers demanding products packaged in glass rather than cans so may not carry their line of tomato sauce and paste in glass jars. We have found it at most Vitamin Cottage stores and Whole Foods. Often if your local stores don’t carry an item they are able to special order it. It’s worth checking into.

“What’s happening to Eclectic Institute? There are very few stores that carry their brand anymore and the one store where I could still find their supplements is phasing them out. I have read that they are one of the best quality herbal supplements out there. Please email me and let me know your thoughts or anyone elses.
Thanks. ~T.J. in Colorado

Circkle’s response to J.J. You are right J.J., they are considered one of the best herbal supplement manufacturers, but their higher prices and lack of educating are why consumers are not supporting them and neither are store. Consumers tend to purchase what is cheapest and not necessarily what’s better. See if your local health food store can special order them. Eclectic has a website, but ordering online is even more expresive. Sorry this news wasn’t better.
